Making Genius playlist of iTunes

The Genius feature in iTunes can help you discover new music that you haven't heard before, but it can also make the music you already have in your iTunes library to you in new ways-in particular in the form of genius playlist.

Genius playlists are different from playlist created yourself or even smart playlists, that are created based on criteria that you determine sort order. Genius playlist using the collective intelligence of the iTunes store and iTunes users to create playlists that torque related songs together and make playlists that will play great (or so Apple claims).

By applying this genius, believe it or not, it takes almost no work at all. Here's how it works.

First, make sure you have iTunes 8 or higher and have Genius on. Then find the song you want to use as a basis for the playlist. Once you've got, create playlists or clicking the "Genius" at the bottom right of the window (it seems that an atom – some rings with balls on it) or right click the song and choose "start Genius".

Top 8 iPhone Apps shopping

top iphone shopping appsSnapTell, Inc.

SnapTell (free) is one of the coolest applications I've tested over time, and has become my constant companion at the library. Just take a picture of any book (or video CD, DVD or game) and the app will pull up prices, user reviews and nearby shops. The application works incredibly well, and it recognizes obscure novels, as well as bestsellers. The barcode scanner does not work so well, but the image is quite good, without it. How does iPhone multitasking

Until the release of iOS 4, iPhone could – with a very few exceptions – to perform only one app at a time. Now, however, iPhone running iOS 4 you can take advantage of multitasking and run multiple applications simultaneously.

Or can they? Despite the hype on the introduction of the iPhone multitasking, this isn't the multitasking, which we have become accustomed. Here's what you need to know.

Not father, multitasking
In the traditional sense that we have become accustomed to on desktop computers, multitasking means being able to run multiple app at the same time. Enough Apps don't work like that of iOS 4. Instead, with the exception of certain types of applications listed below, applications do not run at the same time, however, that they move very quickly.

Quick change of app
Rather than offering traditional multitasking, iOS 4 uses something Apple calls quick-change app. This means that when you click the home button to leave an app and return to main screen, the application crashes essentially where you were and what they were doing and brings to it, when you start the application again. So instead of restart every time you pick up where you left. This isn't really multitasking, but it is a pleasant experience.

But some applications running in the background
All that said, there are some types of applications that can run while running other applications (aka, running in the background). More information on what types of applications can be run in the background.

How to access App Switcher
To access the quick-change app, quickly double-click the home button on the center of the face of the iPhone. This most grey screen and reveal a set of icons at the bottom. The icons you can swipe left and right to see the applications installed on your phone. Tap an icon to start the application.

As applications are sorted
Applications in tray switcher app are ordered based on what was most recently used. This is done to group applications you use most frequently so you don't have to scroll too to find your Favorites.

Using iTunes Video Rentals

The video rental service works only on iTunes as well as all other services you've come to expect from iTunes store. Just visit your store, find the desired content, pay and download. But because there are so many other options when it comes to iTunes movie rental, and DRM because the stuck to them is a little more complicated than with any other offer of the iTunes store, there are a few steps involved. This step-by-step guide will guide you through the process of renting movies from the iTunes store.

To begin with, of course, you must go to the iTunes store to rent movies. Also you need set up an iTunes store account, if you don't already have one.

Start moving in the movies section of the store by clicking on the menu item to the left.

Not every movie from the iTunes store is still available for rental. Once you're in the movies section, there are three ways to find the location.

Explore the contents of the new location check box on the front page of film section.Hotels Apartments using search to Just the right menu. Browse the selection of films of iTunes Store and see if you're interested in film can be rented again. This is probably the method slower and less efficient, but hey, it's your time!

iPhone/iPod HD after crash

Even if you don't have a backup of your database, you have at least some backup data on your iPod/iPhone. Depending on what synchronized to the device, you will have at least some music, film, TV, applications and data on your iPod/iPhone. You can transfer data to the new hard drive/computer in two ways: by using the command of transfer in software purchases of copy/RIP iTunes or iPod.

Purchases of transfer will only move items purchased on iTunes Store from the device to your computer, but it's a start. To use this, plug your iPod/iPhone (and not synchronize it!), go to file – > transfer purchases.

2 iPods, 1 PC: Mngmt Screen

More and more homes have more iPod and a single computer. That leads to the question: How do I manage multiple iPods on one computer?

There are a number of techniques for this; more complex technique that you choose, the more control you have over the Synchronizing music and other content to your iPod. This article is perhaps the easiest way to manage multiple iPods on one computer using the iPod Management screen. Easy to configure and manageAllows all the music to be stored in a library (simple) possibility to sync music not controlAllows wantLess all the music to be stored in a library (potentially confusing)

While this is probably the easiest way to manage multiple iPods on one computer, it is not the most accurate.

1. to start, connect the iPod first (or iPhone or iPad) you want to manage begin synchronization. (If you are by setting your iPod for the first time, be sure to uncheck the box "automatically synchronize the songs on my iPod" in step 7.)

2. at the top of the standard iPod Manager screen are a number of tabs. Find one with tag "music" (where it is in the list will depend on which device you're sync) and click it.

3. On the screen, there are options for selecting which music will be synchronized for the iPod. The following check boxes: "sync music" and "Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres." Be sure to leave the checkbox "automatically fill space with the songs".

4. in each of the four boxes below--playlists, artists, albums and genres--you will be able to see the contents of your computer's iTunes library. Check the box next to the items you want synced to iPod in each of the four areas.

(This is where the lack of control. For example, if you only want some songs from an album of data, you can do; You must synchronize the entire album. If you want only one album by a particular artist, be sure to choose only that album in the album box, rather than everything from that artist in the artists. If you don't, someone could add other album that machine, and would end up their synchronization without meaning. See how this can get complicated?)

5. After you have selected everything you want to synchronize your iPod, click the Apply button in the lower-right corner of the window. This save these settings and synchronize the contents that you chose.

6. unplug the iPod and the repetition of the process for all other iPod models that you want to use with this machine.

Many iPods/1 PC: user account

Families may prefer sharing a computer not mix all files and programs. Not only that it can get confusing and hard to use, parents may want to have some content on your computer (like an r-rated film, for example) that can access, but their kids can't.

This problem becomes particularly important when there are more iPads, iPod or iPhone all be synchronized on the same computer. A way to effectively manage this situation is to create individual accounts on your computer for each family member.

This article concerns more iPod to computer with Manager user account. Other methods of doing this include:

Manage multiple iPods on one computer with a user account is very easy. Everyone needs it, really, you create a user account for each family member.

Once this is done, when such a member of the family you register on their own account, it will be like they are using your personal computer. They'll get your files, settings, applications, their music and nothing else. In this way, all the iTunes libraries and synchronization settings will be completely separated and there will be no complications among people who use computer.

Start by creating a user account for each family member that will use the computer:

Once you've done this, make sure all family members know their username and password. You must also ensure that whenever a family member is done via the computers accessing from their account.

With this fact, each user account will work as is your computer and each family member will be able to do what they want in it.

Yet, parents may wish to apply content restrictions in iTunes their children to prevent access to material mature. To do this, access the user account of each child and follow the instructions for configuring parental controls iTunes. When setting the password there, be sure to use a password other than the child uses to access your user account.

Use multiple iPods, 1 computer

If you aren't concerned about mixing, music, movies, applications and other content that any person who uses your computer puts into iTunes, using the management screen of IOS is a solid option.

With this approach, you choose the content from each of the tabs in the desired management screen on your device. Other people using your computer do the same thing.

The negative aspects of this technique include allowing only a setting for parental control of content and can be imprecise (for example, you can just some music from an artist, but if someone adds more music by artist, could end up on your iPod).

So even though it's messy, that's a very simple way to manage multiple iPods.

Using iTunes DJ

iTunes DJ is a feature of iTunes that allows almost random shuffle through your music library or a playlist, but also allows you to see what songs are coming and edit them.

The name of iTunes DJ gives a sense of where it could be used — could be great for creating a soundtrack going to a party — but can also be a great way to listen to your iTunes library randomly, but with some control.

iTunes DJ is one of the icons listed under the header "Playlist" on the left side of the main window. To view iTunes DJ, just click on the icon.

After clicking on the icon, you'll see a long list of songs from your iTunes library, listed in random order. You can choose songs from your entire iTunes library, or can choose songs from a playlist that you choose.

Choose what source the music is by selecting the dropdown menu at the bottom of the iTunes next to the word "Source". Complete your music library and all your playlists are listed there for you to choose from.

After selecting the source of the songs you want, iTunes DJ will update the list of songs from that source. When you see what songs are coming, you can add songs that are not listed, remove those you don't want to hear or reorder the list.

To add new songs:If there is a song that you want to add to the list of DJ for iTunes that you haven't done so already, you can add to it, finding it in your music library and dragging iTunes DJ icon on the left side.

To reorder tracks:To change the order of songs in iTunes DJ, select the song you want to move, then drag it to the location of iTunes DJ list that you want to have.

To remove the songs:To remove a song from iTunes DJ, select the song and press the delete key or use the mouse to delete the song. This will remove only the song from iTunes DJ, won't delete it from your iTunes library.

There are some options you can change to effect how to use iTunes DJ.

Game top rated songs more often:If you want to influence the "randomness" of iTunes DJ to play that you've given votes exceeding most often, this check box. As long as you have rated songs in iTunes, you'll hear songs that you like more often. (More information about classification of songs in iTunes).

Display the last played Songs:You can choose how many of the songs already played in iTunes that DJ will appear. This is useful if you make a mistake that you skip ahead in a playlist carefully crafted and want to switch back to songs that you haven't heard. You can display from 0 to 100 of already-played songs.

Display tracks in program:By choosing the number of upcoming songs, you see, you have control over your upcoming songs. Choose to see anywhere from next 100 songs for complete control for not imminent songs for a surprise every time.

Update:If only you don't like the list of songs that you are viewing, click the "update" button in the lower-right corner of iTunes. This clear list whole iTunes DJ and replace it with a new selection of songs.

CoverFlow: You can view iTunes DJ as a list of both CoverFlow and through. You can activate any option that you prefer by clicking on "view" buttons in the upper right corner of the window next to the search box.

Flash Player for iPhone?

Adobe Flash Player is one of the most used for the provision of animation, audio and video over the Internet. But the Flash player for iPhone is conspicuously absent.Reply:

March 2010, there is no Flash Player for iPhone. Not because it doesn't exist or is not technically possible (Adobe has created the software), but because Apple refuses to allow Flash on iPhone OS (and, since Apple controls what can and cannot be installed on iPhone AppStore through, can prevent this).

Apple Charges that Flash uses computing resources and battery too quickly and that is unstable, which leads to cause computer crash that Apple doesn't want as part of the iPhone experience.

The block of Flash player for Apple iPhone is a problem for Web-based video games that use Flash or service such as Hulu, such as streaming video online using a Flash Player. No Flash for the iPhone, these sites do not work.

So far, Apple hasn't budged from his position (and it seems to be waiting for HTML5 rules without Flash replace some of the functions that Flash offers to websites). If Apple or Adobe wins this rope high tech remains to be seen.

iPod touch Software Costs?

Update June 2010: upgrade to iOS 4 is free to owners of second and third generation iPod touch. It is unclear whether future updates will be free as well.

Owners of an iPod touch knows something that few other owners of iPod or iPhone know unless their attention very close when Apple releases the new software for these devices: major software upgrades that are free for iPhone users cost US $ 10-$ 20 for iPod touch owners.

The question that many owners of iPod touch asking is: why?

The answer has to do with u.s. accounting and financial regulations.

The need for the Office, according to Apple, and a number of interview by analysts of various new outlets, has to do with how Apple recognizes revenues derived from iPod touch in its financial statements.

Record revenue for the iPod touch at the moment is taken and considers the device, and rightly so, as a non-subscription product.(As I understand it, non-subscription products will need to have the revenue they generate reports when it hits the books to avoid execution run afoul of the law).

You don't need to upload to Apple iPhone or Apple TV software updates because it accounts for those two devices like subscription products, means that it puts the revenue they generate about her books over time, rather than all at once.

Accounting of United States Law requires non-subscription devices that are upgraded to have a cost associated with the update of Apple and many analysts d interpretation of the law. upgrading to version 2.0 of the system operating cost 10 dollars, as did the upgrade to 3.0.

Some observers have suggested that most suspect Apple will charge the rate why not make ongoing revenue from iPod touch users, as is the case for iPhone users, where Gets a share of the monthly invoice of AT&T user thanks to the terms of its exclusivity agreement with AT&T.

While this idea has a vague ring of plausibility, I haven't come across anyone with a deep knowledge of accounting and financial legislation put any credibility in this opinion.

    iTunes Movie Rentals Review

    Works with

    Apple TV Take 2
Mac or PC with iTunes 7.6

    The voucher
    Good picture quality
    Reasonable prices
You can watch the movie more than once in the 24-hour display
Lays the foundations for offering more robust, exciting

    Bad
    Poor Selection at launch
    Viewer Windows are short
Download take 45 to 60 minutes even on a fast connection
HD rentals limited for Apple TV

    The price
    $ 2.99-$ 4.99/Rental

Once again, Apple has pushed forward on the digital entertainment market with its movie rental service for iTunes.Although not perfect, after using the Apple iTunes movie rental service a few times a week, since it was inaugurated, I would say that this is the best offer of its kind date and you can choose the way of how we get our film in the future.

Although some competitors, like Netflix, offer streaming video rental, none offer the first run, wide compatibility (NetFlix supply only works on PCs, for example), or portable devices like the iPod and iTunes Movie Rentals. And, as you would expect from a new entertainment enters the ecosystem of the iPod, this is easy to use.

The process of locating and rental of films from iTunes is optimized as you'd expect any transaction at the iTunes store to be these days with one exception: the initial agreement.Because this is a new service, you must agree to new terms when you start downloading movies. This step must continue as part of the process of hiring, but instead it interrupts the process and causes of having to start over. isn't a big obstacle and never goes away, but it is not the extreme simplicity that we expect from Apple.

Once you have selected and paid for the movie, things are fine.Download take a reasonable amount of time (a movie of 1,4 GB took about 45 minutes and a movie 1.65 GB took less than an hour). that said, I would like to see Apple to find a way to accelerate downloads (although some that depends on the user's connection speed). When you want to watch a movie, I would rather do so now. even if you can start watching while downloading to get immediate gratification, could get broken if the movie captured for download.

This seems to be an even bigger problem for HD rentals, which are much larger file. HD rentals are limited to the Apple TV for now, that is another small sign against the service, but that has bound to change eventually.

With the successful movie in iTunes, you're ready to watch but here you need to make a calculation: want watch now or later? here is because once you start watching a movie, you must complete within 24 hours or is deleted from your hard disk. While it is reasonable to have some limitation on rental, 48 or 72 hours seems fairer. After all, if you start to watch one night and fall asleep, the movie will probably expired before returning home from work and have the chance to watch the following night.(There are, however, able to watch the movie more than once in your window around the clock).

Every time you watch a movie you rented, you're going to be happy. audio and video quality is very good. Although a movie that I rented exposed some pixelation in scenes particularly dark or dark shades, it looked better than I expected and more than good enough.

The biggest drawback of renting movies to iTunes now is that the selection is rather low. we promised 1000 titles soon, but even that isn't very. one of the things that kept iTunes movie store ' to be smash hit as the section of music is its small selection. We hope that Apple can remedy that, when it comes to movie rentals and offer us 10,000 or even 20,000 to choose from soon.

There is a maximum between Apple users that often is better to wait out the first generation of new Apple products, so that the bug can be worked. many people buy at the second generation, getting a better offer at a better price. Although this may be true sometimes, not so with iTunes Movie Rental service. Despite some things that could be optimized, Apple's gotten this one much more right than wrong.

So if you're looking to watch this weekend, why not fire up iTunes and get a taste of a movie as we can all be rented movies in the not too distant future.

    OutFront GPS iPhone App Review

    The voucher

Fast and precise synchronizations of GPSAutomatically with websiteIntegrates with Facebook and Twitter

    Bad

    App store link (launches iTunes)

OutFront (US $ 4.99) is a GPS iPhone app that tracks your time, distance and pace for a variety of outdoor activities, running, cycling and sailing. Since I am a racer, I put the app OutFront to the test to see how it stacks up against favorites like RunMeter or RunKeeper Pro.

Read: Best execution of applications for the iPhone

The first thing you see when you start the application is a login screen. you must create an account, which is free and easy to do by OutFront app. Once you have completed the task, the homepage is fairly simple.I recommend, by extracting the menu settings before so you can enter your weight and change the default units from kilometers to miles.

OutFront integrates with Facebook and Twitter, you can share your workouts with friends. You can have the application automatically send out a Tweet when I start or stop an execution, for example. While that is a characteristic, RunMeter, my app running-rated, has more features as automatic email warnings, announcements and voice virtual competitions.

The application of OutFront integrates with mapmytracks.com, a center of online activity that offers more reporting options and the ability to view other users ' activities. After a race, app OutFront automatically transfers data at mapmytracks.com so you can see total downloads and route maps. the site also includes some nifty graphs that show the elevation gain and pace of fluctuations during execution.

Starting from rush OutFront is simple.Just tap ' start ' on the homepage and start searching for a signal GPS app.Of all applications running that I tested, OutFront has time connection faster GPS--took just a second or two to gain a strong GPS signal in most of my test. The application works fine when running, although numbers may be larger. That is one thing that I really liked about applying RunMeter, which displays all your data running in large numbers that are very easy to read.

Finished running app OutFront Show total distance and duration, average pace, plus a map of route. OutFront is very accurate and I was very impressed by real-time maps and data running.

The only disappointment with OutFront is that which does not include any controls iPod from Dashboard screen. you can still listen to the iPod while it is running, but you'll have to get playlist started before you start the application.

OutFront lacking some functionality than other GPS for running applications, and has no way to control your iPod playlist. However, some runners not care about features like voice alarms or virtual competitions--they just want a quick app that connects with GPS and Displays accurate information. If describing, OutFront is worth a download. I was very impressed with the speed and accuracy of this app; I just hope that developers include iPod controls in a future update.Total: 4 stars out of 5.

    What you need to

OutFront works with iPhone GPS enabled as the iPhone 3 G, 3Gs and 4. It requires iPhone OS 3.1.2 or later.

    JBL On Stage IIIp Review

    Works with
    iPod with dock connector
    iPhone
    iPhone 3 G

    The voucher
Remote handles all of the features of iPod
Portable – light, can use batteries
    Solid Sound

    Bad
    So-so low
    Too expensive

    The price
    US $ 169.95

JBL On Stage IIIp iPod speaker dock Pack very small in its shape. But, due to ordinary sound and a price slightly high, isn't quite as distinct as some of its features could lead one to expect.

The IIIp On Stage appears as a small black plate, or a disc with a speaker grille around his outer edge.It is small, great about how my hand – and has been designed to be portable: it can be powered by an AC adapter or 6 AA batteries and weighs only 1 pound.

As with most iPod speaker docks, IIIp On Stage charge your iPod or iPhone while it is docked and includes a stereo jack for connecting additional online music players.

But other music players aren't concerned. the question is: as if an iPod plays music game through the IIIp On Stage?

The sound On Stage IIIp is solid. While it is not to confuse the sound produced here with a speaker addresses audiophiles, for a small portable system, the audio is acceptable.

Music generally sounds good and can get very strong, but on close listening, sound quality Erodes awhile. These listen close reveals a middling bass response and a sound that is not as rich as that produced by other speaker or profound. Triple produced by sound On Stage IIIp slightly airy and high-end sounds can be a bit strong, especially at high volume.

This figure, you'll be happier if you use this a speaker for a room or an Office, not for political parties or large rooms that need big sound.

While the sound on stage IIIp is just acceptable, the remote control is almost perfect. most speaker iPod remotes can do a few things: control the volume and power and move back and forth within playlists. What can no longer do, though, you pass all the iPod menu.

Remote control of on stage IIIp can do this by making it extremely capable and useful. This feature is common on JBL products, but missing in what they produce most of other manufacturers. I don't know why is it so hard for other manufacturers add this functionality, but JBL earns major points with me to get it.

Although JBL says that the IIIp On Stage works with iPhone, when I tried to use my 3 G, the phone told me that the speakers are not designed to work with. I have ignored the warning, though, and was able to use them without difficulty and without going into flight mode. ain't a problem, actually, but a small hiccup.

One thing that prevents IIIp On Stage to get a higher score is your price .US $ 170 is feels overpriced, especially when compared to JBL On Stage 200iD, that produces the sound just as good, if not better, and costs $ 20. such a difference of $ 20 may be due to greater portability of IIIp, but that factor unmatched quality in my opinion.

The speaker dock iPod JBL On Stage IIIp is a solid product. offers a top-notch remote control, sound solid and portability. worth considering, but if its price was a little less or the quality of the sound a bit higher, would be even more worthy.

    Red iPhone Battery Icon?

Sometimes when you try to activate my iPhone, is not responding. All I see on screen is an iPhone battery icon blinking red. What does that mean?Reply:

This means that you haven't charged recently the battery of iPhone enough and almost out of phone juice. how to show the icon under the battery, you must connect your iPhone to a computer or a wall charger and leave some energy into it ready.

The phone can still perform a while in this State, but obviously is not usable. This is done to save energy and protect the data on your phone.

But, just because you can expect as this some time doesn't mean you should take the odds. If you see the battery icon blinking red iPhone, charge the phone as soon as is possible, switch off the phone to save more power and plugin when you can.

    Possible iTunes Rentals reboots?

    Reply:

Sometimes you lose connections while downloading purchased content, such as a rented movie from the iTunes store.

When it comes to iTunes Movie Rentals, only because the download did not complete successfully, it does not mean you're stuck. If you lose your connection while downloading, you can restart the download once your connection comes back and get the movie. Here's how:

If the connection goes off, troubleshoot. Once you're connected to the Internet, in iTunes, go download center in the left navigation bar. This will show the items that have been downloaded from iTunes.

You'll know that the download was interrupted due to a lost Internet connection (and not something else) If you see a message next to the far right of the window:

    Arrested (err =-3256)

Next to this error is a small button that looks like an arrow. click that and will resume the download.

Apple trumpeted the iPad, its first tablet, how to be "magic" and "revolutionary".This first-generation model rather one of those things – is not yet. instead, is a luxury terrifying device that takes the first step towards achieving revolutionary promise of Apple.

As we'd expect from Apple, the iPad is a gadget of physically beautiful, highly usable refined to a State of excellence. The iPad is light – only 1.5 kg (or 1.6 in the model 3 G) – and it feels great seal or with a hand or two.

Its 9.7 inches screen is a joy to practically everything, especially games, video and web (the only drawback is that non-native apps don't always look great in full screen mode, but that will change as those apps are updated), but not so big as to be cumbersome.

While the screen is great looking, is also a magnet for the fingerprints and smudges – even more than the iPhone.Apple iPhone 3Gs screen applied coating "oleophobic" (which I do not like, but that is another matter). why not do the same with the iPad is staggering. Apple could have, at least, including a cleaning cloth as it with iPod. Watching spots on the screen is little.

The iPad is running a modified version of iPhone OS that was optimized for big screen of iPad.It offers all the strengths of the iPhone OS, but adds new features like drop down menus that present more information and larger space options. These changes will be welcome to anyone who has tried to work with long lists or large amounts of data on the screen of the iPhone. They also move some options of a Setup Panel and in the app and smooth of the overall process of working the iPad.

But, along with the strengths of the iPhone OS, the iPad has also its weakness: no multitasking, support for unified wire, or features powerful mail business. Many of these shortcomings (with the exception of tie.We may need to terminate the relationship AT&T/Apple to get that) will disappear with the release of iPhone OS 4.0 this fall.

In some respects, the iPad feels like an iPhone. But with the addition of the new operating system, will become more like a rugged handheld computer that can challenge the desktop capabilities for many standard applications.

Why is running the iPhone OS, the iPad Gets the thing that contains his greatest promise and potential: support of App Store.

Embedded applications range from acceptable to large and include the things you would expect – Web browser, media player, calendar, photos, etc – but almost limitless options in the app store are what make the iPad so exciting and fun.

Applications that had more attention of iPad launch – the NetFlix and ABC video players, Marvel Comics ' player and online shop, the iWork suite, iBook – demonstrate the versatility and potential in the app store with it, users will be limited only by imagination and skill of the developers (well, that and app approval technology and Apple system restrictions, which are not insignificant factors).

The iPhone platform has already gained considerable momentum as a gaming platform; that doesn't slow down the iPad. Indeed, given its large screen, multitouch functions and motion sensors, the games are likely to get more sophisticated, engaging and impressive.

Among many other things it does, the iPad is a strong competitor – possibly higher – dedicated eBook readers like the Kindle Amazon or Barnes and Noble's Nook.

Basic features of eBook is delivered via Apple iBook free app, which is supported by an online store.

The characteristic of iBook that probably has gotten more attention is the page-turning animation well executed (so sensitive that you can move the page minutely, back and forth and not blink). but it is above all Eye-Candy.

Using iBook is quite pleasant look good, pages can have their font, text size and contrast custom, and yet I haven't experienced any eye strain.

When it comes to functions – bookmarking, integration of the dictionary, link – iBook works well and much like other applications eBook. But is a bit slow at times, especially when turning the pages, so here's hoping Apple refines that in later versions.

The archive of iBook is a little sparse right now. We hope that the selection will grow there the way who grew music library iTunes store – constantly at first, and then exponentially, such that almost anything you could possibly want is available. the risk is that the archive instead of iBook follows the path of the video section of the iTunes store, which has never had enough titles to gain real momentum. If iBook meet that fate, Apple incursion into ebook probably will fail.

But, thanks to the App Store, the iPad is not limited to iBook for reading Amazon app. switch is available, as it Barnes and Noble reader (along with many other eBook readers). fans of comics are also in luck, with numerous combinations of great player/store by Marvel, comiXology and many others. in all cases, the iPad screen provides a nice reading experience.

One of the advantages that continue to have books in ebook (in addition to pure pleasure, texture) is their portability in places not bring consumer. recent ebook readers have solved the problem for reading the bathroom, but have yet to read in the tub (which is a shame).

In most other rooms in the House, though, the iPad is perfectly sharp. This may be the best web browsing experience you've ever had in bed or on the couch, and can be up there in the departments of mobile gaming and entertainment.

Whereas browsing on the iPhone in bed requires positioning iPhone only right angle to prevent its screen rotating lock switch of iPad ingeniously rotation screen solves this problem.

These are areas where industrial design really shines iPad. it just feels good in your hands, around, resting on the knee – better than any laptop, certainly.

    Conserve battery iPad

Apple claims a battery pretty impressive for the iPad-up to 10 hours of use on a full charge. But that doesn't mean you want to find a way to squeeze more life out of it, or that you will not need emergencies where you must sacrifice some features to use the device in a little more. For such situations, here are ten tips on battery iPad Conference.

Maintain the connection WiFi enabled drains battery, if you're connected to the Internet or not.So, if you're not connected-and is not intended to be a bit of time-you can conserve battery power by turning off WiFi's iPad. to do this by tapping-> network-settings-> WiFi > and moving the cursor to "off".

Only some models have built in iPad data connection 3 G, but those who download their batteries when using your Internet connection is always on 3 G provides. If you do not need to connect to the web or need to keep the battery more must connect, turn off the 3 G. To do this by tapping the app Settings-General-> network > and then sliding 3 G to "off".

You may be getting the idea now that wireless networks of any type drains the battery. It is true, so that another way to save battery life is off Bluetooth. Bluetooth is used to connect devices such as keyboards, speakers and headphones for the iPad. If you're not going to connect to any of those, turn off Bluetooth. Do it via settings-General-> Bluetooth >-> and moving the slider to "off".

This feature automatically pushes data like email from the Web to your iPad when connected to the Internet.Because the wireless networks always cost battery, if you're not going to use this feature, turn it off. You need to set your email to verify on a regular basis (if you want to receive emails on your iPad, that is), but that is often a good trade for improved battery. Deactivate this function via settings-> mail, contacts, calendars > fetch new data--> and move the slider to "Push" to "off".

If you're not using push data and want to receive email, you must tell the iPad how often you need to verify your e-mail account. less frequently happens, the battery will be for the battery. Update these settings in the settings-> mail, contacts, calendars > fetch new data-and change the settings just below the menu Push.

Another form of wireless communication employing the iPad is location services. This is what feeds the GPS capabilities of the device. If you do not need to use that (not required to obtain driving directions, use location-aware application as Foursquare, etc), disable services positions via settings > location services-and move the cursor to "off".

Screenshot of iPad can automatically adjust the brightness of the environment in his room.Using this feature will reduce battery drain iPad because the screen is automatically dim the same brilliant locations.Turn this one via settings > brightness->-and automatic Brightness, move the cursor to "on".

Setting display brightness controls the default brightness of iPad screen. As you might think, your screen is bright, the juice more battery of iPad is required, which reduces its life. Thus, the dimmer can hold screen, the longest battery life of your iPad. optimize this settings-settings > brightness and moving the slider to comfortable settings.

The iPod app on the iPad has a built in Equalizer music that automatically adjust the settings (bass, treble, etc.) to improve the sound of music. Since this is a calculation on-the-fly, however, drains battery of iPad. If you're not an audiophile high-end, probably you can live without this being filmed most of the time. to keep it, go to settings-> iPod > EQ->-and set it to "off".

You can determine how quickly the iPad should lock screen when not in use The shorter time before it crashes, you'll use less battery. to change this setting, go to Settings – > General – > auto lock and choose the time interval.

Giving iPod with music On It

This question is usually in two circumstances: you're giving a new iPod as a gift or a competition, but want to load it with music is expected as the recipient, or you're hand down an old iPod to a family member or friend now that you've received a new one.

Apple makes this hard to do (and with good reason, as we shall see later). from design, sync iPod to one computer and when they are synchronized with another, music on them is deleted and replaced by music from the second computer.

Nevertheless, there are ways to give the gift of an iPod fully stocked.

    Delete Voicemails, Save Space

On a device like the iPhone, you're always after more space (this is particularly true for the first generation models from 8 GB and 16 GB – which is not only enough room for music, videos, contacts, photos and programs!), and since there is no way to make the iPhone more storage, you need to find tricks to save space.

This has become a great concern for me, as I noticed that my iPhone 8 GB was rapidly running out of space — I had less than 700 MB free. But how this had happened?I hadn't added a substantial amount of new content. Admittedly, I added some songs here and there, but they couldn't have amounted to more than 5-10 songs.

And, over time, the available space has gotten smaller and smaller, even without new additions? What was happening?

And then it hit me: iPhone voice messages are not deleted completely until they are deleted. sure, you can mark the voicemails as deleted, but I am still on the phone — occupying disk space — until clear.

After a lot of old cancelled voicemail, I recovered about 700 MB of space. the iPhone is supposed to automatically delete voice messages after a certain period of time, but if you're eager to get more disk space without waiting here's how:

Tap the phone icon. Tap Voicemail icon in the bottom right. If that were deleted messages that have not been deleted, the list of Visual Voicemail will include an item on the lower part, called "deleted messages. Select en. In the screen, select the button" clear all "permanently delete messages and free up valuable disk space.

    Controlling 3rd Gen Shuffle

Unlike previous models, the third generation iPod shuffle doesn't have all the buttons on the body of the device to control playback. Instead, the device is controlled via a remote control is connected to the headphones included. However, the remote, includes only three buttons – volume, volume down and a clicker in the Centre.

So, with only three buttons to work with, how to control the third-generation iPod shuffle?

    Reply:

    For music

The volume up and down buttons are pretty obvious.

When you click the Center button, you can control the iPod like this:

    Single click: play/pause music

    Double-click: skip to next track

Triple-click to: skip to previous track

    For VoiceOver

If you're using VoiceOver, a characteristic that speaks the names of songs and playlists, the remote control also works this way:

Listen to the title and artist to play the song: hold down the button.

To switch between playlists: press and hold the button until you hear a tone. Then you'll hear the names of your playlists on iPod. when they feel the playlist you want, click the new button to select it.

    Why delay in iTunes billing?

As someone who has bought something from the iTunes store has probably noticed, Apple does not email the receipt for your purchases immediately after the transaction is completed. In fact, if you've ever watched carefully bank account for your purchases iTunes, you may have noticed that the cost of your purchase actually not posted to your account for a period-a couple of hours to a couple of days-after completing your purchase.

A store doesn't really take your money when that gives your purchase is a little unusual. so what gives: why the delay in the invoicing of iTunes Store?

    Reply:

The answer, it turns out, has to do with the behavior of the user and, above all, the costs of credit card.

Most credit card processors charge their customers both a transaction (or sometimes monthly) fee and a percentage of purchase you are processing. On a big ticket item-say an iPhone or a new laptop-the retailer can absorb these taxes without too much difficulty. But, for a small fee-say US $ 0.69, $ 0.99 or 1.29, the cost of individual songs in iTunes-becomes more difficult to make money if you load a card each time someone buys a single track. If you were to do it, iTunes Store would drown in a sea of one-off fees and expenses, making it even harder to profitability.

However, the user behavior is such that when you buy an individual song or album from the iTunes store, it is likely that you're going to buy another-often pretty soon after. And this is why Apple retards billing. bets that users will make further purchases from the iTunes store and then instead of charging $ 0.99 on your credit card, they can practice, for example, $ 10.98 (the cost of a song that was purchased a day and the album that you bought the next day), an amount that is easier to profit from.

Doesn't always work, of course-a lot of people don't do many purchases spread out over a few days-but apparently it works quite often for effective strategy for Apple.

    Watch movies on iPhone

Thanks to its big screen and landscape orientation, the iPhone is a device much better watch movies on from earlier versions of the iPod.

The iPod, with its vertical, 2.5-inch wide screen, is a platform video OK — even better for short videos — but the iPhone and its 3.5 inch screen clearly got good video experiences, built from the design phase. Not everything about watching a film – if a purchase, hire or ripped DVD – on iPhone is perfect, but portable video in your pocket it seems now a much more attractive option.

When you start watching the video on an iPhone, the screen automatically becomes a landscape orientation. This provides the best viewing videos, horizontal format replication of modern TVs. Generally this works fine but for some movies have to choose between cutting the edges of the image and watch a smaller image, letterbox. It's not a terrible choice, but it would be nice if the reproduction was smart enough not to force viewers to make it.

The choice becomes a bit more complicated with movies that benefit from a larger image. Dramas based on intense character not lose much by bande nere, but one of my test was Transformers movie, a movie that certainly increases in impact greater gets. To see the whole picture and not lose the edges, I chose the letterbox display and his supervisor smaller image. This may have dampened the thrill of certain parts of the movie, but seeing that the entire image seemed worth.

In General, video Looks and sounds great on iPhone. of course, this is determined, in part, encoding the video, but anything purchased or leased from the iTunes store would be nice to everyone, but the eye far more demanding.

Just as with the iPod, the iPhone in your hands long enough to watch a TV show or movie full can be a bit of taxing. With a long movie, you'll be holding the iPhone a few inches from your face and just the right angle (a small slope in the direction of one of the other can make the image too light or too dark), for a while. With transformers, I was clutching and tilting my iPhone for over two hours.

Some cases of iPhone try to help you with this including built-in stand. I don't know if I see the value of this since it is assumed that you're watching the movie in a place with a flat surface. If you're in a place, like a House, why not watch the movie on a computer or TV (with adapter cables)?

It seems to me that the situation is best suited for watching video on iPhone is travelling. on the phone a long bus, bringing a movie or two together with you, air or train looks like a great way to pass time.

Although not yet a perfect experience, watch videos on the iPhone is a major upgrade on watching the iPod traditional and a great option for travellers.
