Once again, Apple has pushed forward on the digital entertainment market with its movie rental service for iTunes.Although not perfect, after using the Apple iTunes movie rental service a few times a week, since it was inaugurated, I would say that this is the best offer of its kind date and you can choose the way of how we get our film in the future.

Although some competitors, like Netflix, offer streaming video rental, none offer the first run, wide compatibility (NetFlix supply only works on PCs, for example), or portable devices like the iPod and iTunes Movie Rentals.And, as you would expect from a new entertainment enters the ecosystem of the iPod, this is easy to use.

With the successful movie in iTunes, you're ready to watch but here you need to make a calculation: want watch now or later? here is because once you start watching a movie, you must complete within 24 hours or is deleted from your hard disk. While it is reasonable to have some limitation on rental, 48 or 72 hours seems fairer. After all, if you start to watch one night and fall asleep, the movie will probably expired before returning home from work and have the chance to watch the following night.(There are, however, able to watch the movie more than once in your window around the clock).

Every time you watch a movie you rented, you're going to be happy. audio and video quality is very good. Although a movie that I rented exposed some pixelation in scenes particularly dark or dark shades, it looked better than I expected and more than good enough.

The biggest drawback of renting movies to iTunes now is that the selection is rather low. we promised 1000 titles soon, but even that isn't very. one of the things that kept iTunes movie store ' to be smash hit as the section of music is its small selection. We hope that Apple can remedy that, when it comes to movie rentals and offer us 10,000 or even 20,000 to choose from soon.

There is a maximum between Apple users that often is better to wait out the first generation of new Apple products, so that the bug can be worked. many people buy at the second generation, getting a better offer at a better price. Although this may be true sometimes, not so with iTunes Movie Rental service. Despite some things that could be optimized, Apple's gotten this one much more right than wrong.

OutFront (US $ 4.99) is a GPS iPhone app that tracks your time, distance and pace for a variety of outdoor activities, running, cycling and sailing. Since I am a racer, I put the app OutFront to the test to see how it stacks up against favorites like RunMeter or RunKeeper Pro.

The first thing you see when you start the application is a login screen. you must create an account, which is free and easy to do by OutFront app. Once you have completed the task, the homepage is fairly simple.I recommend, by extracting the menu settings before so you can enter your weight and change the default units from kilometers to miles.

OutFront integrates with Facebook and Twitter, you can share your workouts with friends. You can have the application automatically send out a Tweet when I start or stop an execution, for example. While that is a characteristic, RunMeter, my app running-rated, has more features as automatic email warnings, announcements and voice virtual competitions.

The application of OutFront integrates with mapmytracks.com, a center of online activity that offers more reporting options and the ability to view other users ' activities.After a race, app OutFront automatically transfers data at mapmytracks.com so you can see total downloads and route maps. the site also includes some nifty graphs that show the elevation gain and pace of fluctuations during execution.

Starting from rush OutFront is simple.Just tap ' start ' on the homepage and start searching for a signal GPS app.Of all applications running that I tested, OutFront has time connection faster GPS--took just a second or two to gain a strong GPS signal in most of my test.The application works fine when running, although numbers may be larger.That is one thing that I really liked about applying RunMeter, which displays all your data running in large numbers that are very easy to read.

Finished running app OutFront Show total distance and duration, average pace, plus a map of route. OutFront is very accurate and I was very impressed by real-time maps and data running.

The only disappointment with OutFront is that which does not include any controls iPod from Dashboard screen. you can still listen to the iPod while it is running, but you'll have to get playlist started before you start the application.

OutFront lacking some functionality than other GPS for running applications, and has no way to control your iPod playlist. However, some runners not care about features like voice alarms or virtual competitions--they just want a quick app that connects with GPS and Displays accurate information. If describing, OutFront is worth a download. I was very impressed with the speed and accuracy of this app; I just hope that developers include iPod controls in a future update.Total: 4 stars out of 5.

JBL On Stage IIIp iPod speaker dock Pack very small in its shape.But, due to ordinary sound and a price slightly high, isn't quite as distinct as some of its features could lead one to expect.

The IIIp On Stage appears as a small black plate, or a disc with a speaker grille around his outer edge.It is small, great about how my hand – and has been designed to be portable: it can be powered by an AC adapter or 6 AA batteries and weighs only 1 pound.

As with most iPod speaker docks, IIIp On Stage charge your iPod or iPhone while it is docked and includes a stereo jack for connecting additional online music players.

But other music players aren't concerned. the question is: as if an iPod plays music game through the IIIp On Stage?

The sound On Stage IIIp is solid. While it is not to confuse the sound produced here with a speaker addresses audiophiles, for a small portable system, the audio is acceptable.

Music generally sounds good and can get very strong, but on close listening, sound quality Erodes awhile. These listen close reveals a middling bass response and a sound that is not as rich as that produced by other speaker or profound. Remote control of on stage IIIp can do this by making it extremely capable and useful. This feature is common on JBL products, but missing in what they produce most of other manufacturers. I don't know why is it so hard for other manufacturers add this functionality, but JBL earns major points with me to get it.

Although JBL says that the IIIp On Stage works with iPhone, when I tried to use my 3 G, the phone told me that the speakers are not designed to work with. I have ignored the warning, though, and was able to use them without difficulty and without going into flight mode. ain't a problem, actually, but a small hiccup.

One thing that prevents IIIp On Stage to get a higher score is your price .US $ 170 is feels overpriced, especially when compared to JBL On Stage 200iD, that produces the sound just as good, if not better, and costs $ 20. such a difference of $ 20 may be due to greater portability of IIIp, but that factor unmatched quality in my opinion.

The speaker dock iPod JBL On Stage IIIp is a solid product. offers a top-notch remote control, sound solid and portability. worth considering, but if its price was a little less or the quality of the sound a bit higher, would be even more worthy.

Apple trumpeted the iPad, its first tablet, how to be "magic" and "revolutionary".This first-generation model rather one of those things – is not yet. instead, is a luxury terrifying device that takes the first step towards achieving revolutionary promise of Apple.

As we'd expect from Apple, the iPad is a gadget of physically beautiful, highly usable refined to a State of excellence. The iPad is light – only 1.5 kg (or 1.6 in the model 3 G) – and it feels great seal or with a hand or two.

Its 9.7 inches screen is a joy to practically everything, especially games, video and web (the only drawback is that non-native apps don't always look great in full screen mode, but that will change as those apps are updated), but not so big as to be cumbersome.

While the screen is great looking, is also a magnet for the fingerprints and smudges – even more than the iPhone.Apple iPhone 3Gs screen applied coating "oleophobic" (which I do not like, but that is another matter). why not do the same with the iPad is staggering. Apple could have, at least, including a cleaning cloth as it with iPod. Watching spots on the screen is little.

The iPad is running a modified version of iPhone OS that was optimized for big screen of iPad.It offers all the strengths of the iPhone OS, but adds new features like drop down menus that present more information and larger space options. The iPhone platform has already gained considerable momentum as a gaming platform; that doesn't slow down the iPad. Indeed, given its large screen, multitouch functions and motion sensors, the games are likely to get more sophisticated, engaging and impressive.

Among many other things it does, the iPad is a strong competitor – possibly higher – dedicated eBook readers like the Kindle Amazon or Barnes and Noble's Nook.

Basic features of eBook is delivered via Apple iBook free app, which is supported by an online store.

The characteristic of iBook that probably has gotten more attention is the page-turning animation well executed (so sensitive that you can move the page minutely, back and forth and not blink). but it is above all Eye-Candy.

Using iBook is quite pleasant look good, pages can have their font, text size and contrast custom, and yet I haven't experienced any eye strain.

When it comes to functions – bookmarking, integration of the dictionary, link – iBook works well and much like other applications eBook. But is a bit slow at times, especially when turning the pages, so here's hoping Apple refines that in later versions.

The archive of iBook is a little sparse right now. We hope that the selection will grow there the way who grew music library iTunes store – constantly at first, and then exponentially, such that almost anything you could possibly want is available. the risk is that the archive instead of iBook follows the path of the video section of the iTunes store, which has never had enough titles to gain real momentum. If iBook meet that fate, Apple incursion into ebook probably will fail.

But, thanks to the App Store, the iPad is not limited to iBook for reading Amazon app. switch is available, as it Barnes and Noble reader (along with many other eBook readers). fans of comics are also in luck, with numerous combinations of great player/store by Marvel, comiXology and many others. in all cases, the iPad screen provides a nice reading experience.

One of the advantages that continue to have books in ebook (in addition to pure pleasure, texture) is their portability in places not bring consumer. recent ebook readers have solved the problem for reading the bathroom, but have yet to read in the tub (which is a shame).

In most other rooms in the House, though, the iPad is perfectly sharp. This may be the best web browsing experience you've ever had in bed or on the couch, and can be up there in the departments of mobile gaming and entertainment.

Whereas browsing on the iPhone in bed requires positioning iPhone only right angle to prevent its screen rotating lock switch of iPad ingeniously rotation screen solves this problem.

These are areas where industrial design really shines iPad. it just feels good in your hands, around, resting on the knee – better than any laptop, certainly.
