Top 8 iPhone Apps shopping

top iphone shopping appsSnapTell, Inc.

SnapTell (free) is one of the coolest applications I've tested over time, and has become my constant companion at the library. Just take a picture of any book (or video CD, DVD or game) and the app will pull up prices, user reviews and nearby shops. The application works incredibly well, and it recognizes obscure novels, as well as bestsellers. The barcode scanner does not work so well, but the image is quite good, without it. Total: 4.5 stars out of 5.

How does iPhone multitasking

Until the release of iOS 4, iPhone could – with a very few exceptions – to perform only one app at a time. Now, however, iPhone running iOS 4 you can take advantage of multitasking and run multiple applications simultaneously.

Or can they? Despite the hype on the introduction of the iPhone multitasking, this isn't the multitasking, which we have become accustomed. Here's what you need to know.

Not father, multitasking
In the traditional sense that we have become accustomed to on desktop computers, multitasking means being able to run multiple app at the same time. Enough Apps don't work like that of iOS 4. Instead, with the exception of certain types of applications listed below, applications do not run at the same time, however, that they move very quickly.

Quick change of app
Rather than offering traditional multitasking, iOS 4 uses something Apple calls quick-change app. This means that when you click the home button to leave an app and return to main screen, the application crashes essentially where you were and what they were doing and brings to it, when you start the application again. So instead of restart every time you pick up where you left. This isn't really multitasking, but it is a pleasant experience.

But some applications running in the background
All that said, there are some types of applications that can run while running other applications (aka, running in the background). More information on what types of applications can be run in the background.

How to access App Switcher
To access the quick-change app, quickly double-click the home button on the center of the face of the iPhone. This most grey screen and reveal a set of icons at the bottom. The icons you can swipe left and right to see the applications installed on your phone. Tap an icon to start the application.

As applications are sorted
Applications in tray switcher app are ordered based on what was most recently used. This is done to group applications you use most frequently so you don't have to scroll too to find your Favorites.

If it detects the device, will enlarge the map and show the position of the device using a blue dot. When this happens, you can enlarge or reduce the map and display it in map mode, satellite and hybrid, like any Google map.

Flash Player for iPhone?

Adobe Flash Player is one of the most used for the provision of animation, audio and video over the Internet. But the Flash player for iPhone is conspicuously absent.Reply:

March 2010, there is no Flash Player for iPhone. Not because it doesn't exist or is not technically possible (Adobe has created the software), but because Apple refuses to allow Flash on iPhone OS (and, since Apple controls what can and cannot be installed on iPhone AppStore through, can prevent this).

Apple Charges that Flash uses computing resources and battery too quickly and that is unstable, which leads to cause computer crash that Apple doesn't want as part of the iPhone experience.

The block of Flash player for Apple iPhone is a problem for Web-based video games that use Flash or service such as Hulu, such as streaming video online using a Flash Player. No Flash for the iPhone, these sites do not work.

So far, Apple hasn't budged from his position (and it seems to be waiting for HTML5 rules without Flash replace some of the functions that Flash offers to websites). If Apple or Adobe wins this rope high tech remains to be seen.

OutFront GPS iPhone App Review

The voucher

Fast and precise synchronizations of GPSAutomatically with websiteIntegrates with Facebook and Twitter

Bad

App store link (launches iTunes)

OutFront (US $ 4.99) is a GPS iPhone app that tracks your time, distance and pace for a variety of outdoor activities, running, cycling and sailing. Since I am a racer, I put the app OutFront to the test to see how it stacks up against favorites like RunMeter or RunKeeper Pro.

Read: Best execution of applications for the iPhone

The first thing you see when you start the application is a login screen. you must create an account, which is free and easy to do by OutFront app. Once you have completed the task, the homepage is fairly simple.I recommend, by extracting the menu settings before so you can enter your weight and change the default units from kilometers to miles.

OutFront integrates with Facebook and Twitter, you can share your workouts with friends. You can have the application automatically send out a Tweet when I start or stop an execution, for example. While that is a characteristic, RunMeter, my app running-rated, has more features as automatic email warnings, announcements and voice virtual competitions.

The application of OutFront integrates with mapmytracks.com, a center of online activity that offers more reporting options and the ability to view other users ' activities. After a race, app OutFront automatically transfers data at mapmytracks.com so you can see total downloads and route maps. the site also includes some nifty graphs that show the elevation gain and pace of fluctuations during execution.

Starting from rush OutFront is simple.Just tap ' start ' on the homepage and start searching for a signal GPS app.Of all applications running that I tested, OutFront has time connection faster GPS--took just a second or two to gain a strong GPS signal in most of my test. The application works fine when running, although numbers may be larger. That is one thing that I really liked about applying RunMeter, which displays all your data running in large numbers that are very easy to read.

Finished running app OutFront Show total distance and duration, average pace, plus a map of route. OutFront is very accurate and I was very impressed by real-time maps and data running.

The only disappointment with OutFront is that which does not include any controls iPod from Dashboard screen. you can still listen to the iPod while it is running, but you'll have to get playlist started before you start the application.

OutFront lacking some functionality than other GPS for running applications, and has no way to control your iPod playlist. However, some runners not care about features like voice alarms or virtual competitions--they just want a quick app that connects with GPS and Displays accurate information. If describing, OutFront is worth a download. I was very impressed with the speed and accuracy of this app; I just hope that developers include iPod controls in a future update.Total: 4 stars out of 5.

What you need to

OutFront works with iPhone GPS enabled as the iPhone 3 G, 3Gs and 4. It requires iPhone OS 3.1.2 or later.

Red iPhone Battery Icon?

Sometimes when you try to activate my iPhone, is not responding. All I see on screen is an iPhone battery icon blinking red. What does that mean?Reply:

This means that you haven't charged recently the battery of iPhone enough and almost out of phone juice. how to show the icon under the battery, you must connect your iPhone to a computer or a wall charger and leave some energy into it ready.

The phone can still perform a while in this State, but obviously is not usable. This is done to save energy and protect the data on your phone.

But, just because you can expect as this some time doesn't mean you should take the odds. If you see the battery icon blinking red iPhone, charge the phone as soon as is possible, switch off the phone to save more power and plugin when you can.

Watch movies on iPhone

Thanks to its big screen and landscape orientation, the iPhone is a device much better watch movies on from earlier versions of the iPod.

The iPod, with its vertical, 2.5-inch wide screen, is a platform video OK — even better for short videos — but the iPhone and its 3.5 inch screen clearly got good video experiences, built from the design phase. Not everything about watching a film – if a purchase, hire or ripped DVD – on iPhone is perfect, but portable video in your pocket it seems now a much more attractive option.

When you start watching the video on an iPhone, the screen automatically becomes a landscape orientation. This provides the best viewing videos, horizontal format replication of modern TVs. Generally this works fine but for some movies have to choose between cutting the edges of the image and watch a smaller image, letterbox. It's not a terrible choice, but it would be nice if the reproduction was smart enough not to force viewers to make it.

The choice becomes a bit more complicated with movies that benefit from a larger image. Dramas based on intense character not lose much by bande nere, but one of my test was Transformers movie, a movie that certainly increases in impact greater gets. To see the whole picture and not lose the edges, I chose the letterbox display and his supervisor smaller image. This may have dampened the thrill of certain parts of the movie, but seeing that the entire image seemed worth.

In General, video Looks and sounds great on iPhone. of course, this is determined, in part, encoding the video, but anything purchased or leased from the iTunes store would be nice to everyone, but the eye far more demanding.

Just as with the iPod, the iPhone in your hands long enough to watch a TV show or movie full can be a bit of taxing. With a long movie, you'll be holding the iPhone a few inches from your face and just the right angle (a small slope in the direction of one of the other can make the image too light or too dark), for a while. With transformers, I was clutching and tilting my iPhone for over two hours.

Some cases of iPhone try to help you with this including built-in stand. I don't know if I see the value of this since it is assumed that you're watching the movie in a place with a flat surface. If you're in a place, like a House, why not watch the movie on a computer or TV (with adapter cables)?

It seems to me that the situation is best suited for watching video on iPhone is travelling. on the phone a long bus, bringing a movie or two together with you, air or train looks like a great way to pass time.

Although not yet a perfect experience, watch videos on the iPhone is a major upgrade on watching the iPod traditional and a great option for travellers.
