Unlike previous models, the third generation iPod shuffle doesn't have all the buttons on the body of the device to control playback. Instead, the device is controlled via a remote control is connected to the headphones included. However, the remote, includes only three buttons – volume, volume down and a clicker in the Centre.
So, with only three buttons to work with, how to control the third-generation iPod shuffle?
Reply:For music
The volume up and down buttons are pretty obvious.
When you click the Center button, you can control the iPod like this:
Single click: play/pause music
Double-click: skip to next track
Triple-click to: skip to previous track
For VoiceOver
If you're using VoiceOver, a characteristic that speaks the names of songs and playlists, the remote control also works this way:
Listen to the title and artist to play the song: hold down the button.
To switch between playlists: press and hold the button until you hear a tone. Then you'll hear the names of your playlists on iPod. when they feel the playlist you want, click the new button to select it.
