As TUAW reports, SquareTrade, has an independent warranty provider published a report showing the iPhone to more reliable than Palm Treo or BlackBerry devices.
The report entitled "iPhone more reliable than BlackBerry, a year in" [PDF], analyzes failure rates for more than 15,000 new phones from SquareTrade Warranties covered. SquareTrade found that after one year of ownership, iPhone owners half as likely as BlackBerry owners fail phone and one third as likely as Treo have, owner.After 12 months, more than 16% of the Treo owners had a failure, experienced while less than 12% of the BlackBerry owners of their Smartphone die on you hatte.Nur had a critical failure.The 5.6% of iPhone owners report, be however, the iPhone more vulnerable units, probably due to the iPhone's small size and slippery case for accidental damage (dropping and the like) as a Treo or BlackBerry.
